Director of Engineering - Multi-Property

The Director of Engineering - Multi-Property is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of multiple buildings, grounds, and physical plants, ensuring safety, security, and asset protection. This role involves managing budgets, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation initiatives to maximize financial performance while meeting or exceeding guest and employee expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing engineering operations and budgets, including controllable expenses and service contracts.
• Maintaining engineering standards by ensuring compliance with regulations and managing property life safety systems.
• Managing profitability by monitoring and controlling expenses, participating in budgeting processes, and preparing financial reports.
• Supervising construction projects and ensuring timely completion within budgetary guidelines.
• Leading the emergency response team for facility issues and ensuring the fire crew's understanding of procedures and equipment.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED with 6 years of experience in engineering and maintenance, or a 2-year degree in a related field with 4 years of experience. Technical training in HVAC-R, Electrical, or Plumbing is required.
