Director of Engineering - Multi-Property

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the engineering and maintenance operations of multiple properties, ensuring safety, security, and asset protection while maximizing financial performance. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of property maintenance and engineering principles.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing budgets, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation initiatives. They will also be responsible for leading the emergency response team for all facility issues and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing engineering operations and budgets, including controllable expenses and long-term preventative maintenance plans.
• Maintaining engineering standards and ensuring compliance with regulations and property policies.
• Managing profitability by monitoring operating statements, managing payroll, and participating in the budgeting process.
• Supervising construction projects and ensuring timely completion within budgetary guidelines.
• Leading and coaching the engineering leadership team to achieve departmental goals.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with at least 6 years of experience in engineering and maintenance, or a 2-year degree in a related field with 4 years of experience. Technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing is required.
