Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager at SSCL will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing projects with precision and accountability. The core responsibilities include:

• Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgetary constraints, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
• Team Leadership and Management: Assemble and lead high-performing project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration across functional groups.
• Resource Allocation and Cost Control: Accurately estimate, track, and manage project costs, ensuring optimal allocation of manpower, tools, and resources to meet financial and operational targets.
• Risk Management and Quality Assurance: Proactively identify potential risks, develop and implement mitigation strategies, and ensure that all deliverables adhere to stringent quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Stakeholder Communication and Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between clients, executives, vendors, and team members, facilitating transparent communication, providing timely status updates, and resolving issues to maintain project momentum.
• Project Monitoring and Reporting: Track project milestones, evaluate progress against established benchmarks, and prepare detailed reports to inform stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making.
• Procurement and Vendor Oversight: Oversee procurement processes, negotiate contracts with vendors, and monitor vendor performance to ensure timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining cost efficiency.
• Project Handover and Continuous Improvement: Facilitate the seamless transition of projects upon completion, document outcomes, evaluate team and project performance, and identify opportunities for process enhancement to drive operational excellence.

Education and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, providing a strong foundation in technical principles and project management methodologies.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in managing end-to-end projects, with a proven track record in sectors such as government, healthcare, industrial, or commercial environments. Experience in similar industries may be required to ensure alignment with sector-specific standards and regulations.
• Industry Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of relevant industry standards, compliance regulations, and best practices, particularly in areas such as health, safety, and permit acquisition, is highly advantageous.
