Financial Planning & Analysis Manager - EPC Telecommunication Company | Saudi Arabia

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our dynamic team at RAWAJ, a leading EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) telecommunication company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in driving financial strategy, optimizing performance, and ensuring the company’s long-term financial sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting within the telecommunications or infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure financial goals are integrated into business operations.
• Performance Analysis & Reporting: Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing actionable insights and variance analysis to stakeholders. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial health and operational efficiency.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the annual budgeting process, including revenue projections, cost management, and capital expenditure planning. Utilize advanced financial modeling techniques to anticipate trends and mitigate risks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with department heads across engineering, procurement, and project management to align financial strategies with project execution. Provide financial guidance to support decision-making in large-scale EPC telecommunication projects.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard the company’s assets. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership, board members, and external stakeholders. Translate complex financial data into clear, concise, and strategic narratives.
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Recommend and implement best practices in financial planning and analysis.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, or CMA) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Prior experience in the telecommunications, infrastructure, or EPC sector is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and advanced Excel skills. Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting tools, and ERP systems.
• Analytical & Leadership Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail. Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
• Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
