Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager - Operational Readiness, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and refining comprehensive operational readiness strategies that support Qiddiya’s long-term objectives. Your leadership will be critical in fostering collaboration across project teams, operations, engineering, and key stakeholders to embed operational readiness into every phase of project execution. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Planning and Execution: Design, implement, and continuously enhance operational readiness plans that align with Qiddiya’s strategic goals, ensuring all initiatives are executed with precision and foresight.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough readiness assessments to identify potential risks, operational gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and execute robust mitigation strategies to guarantee successful project launches and uninterrupted operations.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with diverse teams, including project management, operations, engineering, and external stakeholders, to integrate operational readiness considerations into every stage of project development and execution.
• Training and Development: Oversee the design and implementation of comprehensive training programs to equip staff and operational teams with the skills and knowledge required to meet and exceed performance benchmarks.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational readiness and performance. Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of excellence by identifying and integrating industry best practices and innovative approaches to enhance operational readiness and efficiency.
• Guest-Centric Focus: Embed a guest-first philosophy into all operational readiness initiatives, ensuring that every aspect of the visitor experience is optimized for satisfaction, safety, and engagement.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of strategic vision, operational expertise, and leadership acumen. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality, or a related field. A Master’s degree is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in operational management or readiness, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position. Prior experience within the entertainment, hospitality, or large-scale infrastructure sectors is preferred.
• Proven track record in developing and executing operational readiness strategies for complex, high-profile projects.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
