Senior PMO – Governance: Drive Enterprise Digital Transformation and Modernize Project Governance

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Project Management Officer (PMO) – Governance to lead a critical initiative within a leading organization undergoing a transformative digital evolution. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the modernization of project governance by designing and implementing robust enterprise PMO frameworks, methodologies, and automated workflows using ServiceNow Process Automation. Your expertise will be instrumental in aligning strategic initiatives with delivery priorities, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring the successful execution of enterprise-wide transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior PMO – Governance, your core responsibilities will include:

• Governance Framework Leadership: Develop, refine, and sustain enterprise-wide PMO governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistent project delivery and compliance with organizational standards.
• Strategic Governance Standards: Establish and enforce project governance standards, including KPIs, reporting frameworks, and executive dashboards to provide real-time visibility into project performance and portfolio health.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with senior technology and business leaders to align strategic initiatives with delivery priorities, ensuring seamless integration of governance processes across the enterprise.
• Process Automation Transformation: Lead the transition from outdated, manual PMO processes—often reliant on spreadsheets and disparate tools—to streamlined, automated enterprise workflows that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• ServiceNow Implementation Leadership: Spearhead the implementation, configuration, and continuous optimization of ServiceNow Process Automation to support PMO operations, including project initiation, approvals, governance reviews, portfolio management, reporting, and risk management.
• Workflow Design and Optimization: Design and deploy automated workflows that standardize project governance, reduce administrative overhead, and enable data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Proven PMO Governance Expertise: Extensive experience in establishing and leading enterprise PMO governance functions, with a track record of developing and implementing governance frameworks that drive project success.
• Portfolio and Project Management Proficiency: A strong background in project governance, portfolio management, and process improvement, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Transformation Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading business transformation and PMO modernization initiatives, including the adoption of digital tools and automation technologies.
• ServiceNow Proficiency: Hands-on experience implementing and configuring ServiceNow Process Automation, with a deep understanding of its capabilities in workflow automation, governance, and reporting.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and drive alignment across diverse teams.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and implement improvements that enhance PMO effectiveness.
