Leadership Role: Asset & Site Management

The Director - Asset & Site Management - CM5 is responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and readiness of all physical assets and site infrastructure at a prestigious heritage and cultural programme. This role ensures facilities, utilities, and environments are fully prepared to support cultural programming, event operations, and visitor experience, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Asset & Facilities Management: Serve as the in-house expert on facilities management, oversee integrated hard and soft FM services, manage FM contract governance, and provide engineering oversight to ensure asset maintainability and operability.
• Maintenance & Technical Services: Develop and implement maintenance strategies, oversee technical systems, support asset lifecycle planning, and contribute to budgeting and financial management.
• Utilities & Infrastructure Management: Ensure reliable utilities provision, plan and coordinate infrastructure requirements, and monitor capacity to support peak demand during major events.
• Site Readiness & Event Enablement: Ensure the site is fully prepared for all programming and event activities, coordinate readiness of spaces and facilities, and support event setup and reinstatement.
• Contract & Service Provider Management: Lead procurement input, establish service level agreements, monitor contractor performance, and manage cost control and service quality.
• Compliance, Safety & Regulatory Management: Ensure compliance with all asset-related regulations and standards, and maintain a safe environment for visitors and staff.
