Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Store Manager to join our Lifestyle Operations team at Majid Al Futtaim. In this pivotal role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, driving sales performance, and leading a high-performing team to achieve business objectives. As the deputy to the Store Manager, you will assume full responsibility for store operations in their absence, ensuring seamless business continuity while upholding brand integrity, operational compliance, and exceptional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Experience Leadership: Champion the highest standards of customer service by fostering a customer-centric culture within the team. Ensure alignment with company and brand customer experience (CX) standards while staying attuned to evolving customer needs and market trends.
• Team Development & Performance: Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to consistently deliver outstanding service and meet sales targets. Provide coaching, feedback, and professional growth opportunities to enhance individual and team performance.
• Collaboration & Communication: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal support teams, including Marketing, Buying, and Planning. Facilitate clear and consistent communication to drive sales initiatives, promotional activities, and business improvements.
• Sales & Business Growth: Drive sales performance by proactively identifying opportunities to exceed KPI targets. Take initiative in implementing sales strategies, promotions, and brand activities to maximize revenue and customer engagement.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth and efficient store operations, particularly in the absence of the Store Manager. Address operational disruptions promptly and effectively to maintain business continuity and minimize losses.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Implement and enforce company policies, guidelines, and operational procedures to mitigate risks such as stock loss and damage. Maintain a secure and compliant working environment in adherence to industry regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required. A degree or certification in a retail-related field is considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in retail operations, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen focus on achieving sales and operational targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments.
