Vice President Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Operations to join our executive leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our operational strategy to drive sustainable growth, efficiency, and excellence across the organization. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive operational plans that align with our long-term business objectives while fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and oversee the execution of a robust operational strategy that ensures alignment with corporate goals, enhances performance, and drives measurable results across all business units.
• Operational Excellence: Lead the day-to-day operations of all functional areas, establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services while optimizing resource utilization and cost efficiency.
• Process Optimization: Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives by implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, eliminating waste, and enhancing operational workflows to achieve superior efficiency and productivity.
• Supply Chain & Logistics Management: Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, from procurement to delivery, by leveraging best practices in logistics optimization, vendor management, and cost-reduction strategies to ensure seamless and timely service delivery.
• Financial Acumen: Drive financial performance through strategic budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, ensuring that operational decisions are data-driven and aligned with fiscal objectives.
• Team Leadership & Development: Cultivate a high-performance culture by mentoring and developing operational leaders, fostering talent retention, and implementing robust succession planning to build a resilient and capable workforce.
• Innovation & Technology Integration: Champion the adoption of emerging technologies and advanced analytics to enhance decision-making, improve operational metrics, and maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards, industry guidelines, and internal policies to mitigate risks and uphold the highest levels of safety, quality, and reliability across all operational functions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between operational teams, senior leadership, and the board of directors, providing clear and compelling insights on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities for strategic growth.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of developing and executing operational strategies that deliver tangible improvements in efficiency, scalability, and profitability. Proficiency in supply chain management, logistics optimization, and financial analysis is essential, along with a deep understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and data-driven decision-making.
