Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect with 9–12+ years of experience to lead the development and execution of our enterprise architecture strategy. In this pivotal role, you will define the organization’s architectural principles, standards, and target-state models while ensuring that technology investments are fully aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will drive technology modernization, cloud adoption, and digital transformation initiatives, collaborating closely with business leaders, solution architects, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong governance oversight and the ability to mentor teams on enterprise architecture best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture Strategy & Governance: Develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategies, principles, standards, and governance processes to ensure consistency and alignment across the organization.
• Current & Target-State Design: Create and refine architecture models that reflect the current state while defining roadmaps for future-state transformations, including technology modernization and digital initiatives.
• Technology Evaluation & Recommendations: Assess emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations to optimize technology investments and adoption.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business leaders, solution architects, engineering teams, and project managers to ensure architectural alignment and seamless execution of enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Architecture Reviews & Compliance: Conduct architecture reviews to validate compliance with enterprise standards, governance frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Transformation Leadership: Lead technology modernization, cloud adoption, and digital transformation initiatives, ensuring they deliver measurable business value and scalability.
• Impact Assessments & Guidance: Perform architecture impact assessments and provide technical guidance to support project delivery and innovation.
• Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Mentor solution architects and engineering teams on enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in the following areas:

• Enterprise Architecture Frameworks: Proficiency in TOGAF, Zachman Framework, FEAF, or Gartner Enterprise Architecture methodologies.
• Architecture Modeling: Expertise in ArchiMate, UML, BPMN, or C4 Model for designing and documenting architecture models.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Architecture Domains: Deep understanding of Business Architecture, Application Architecture, Data Architecture, Technology Architecture, and Security Architecture.
• Modern Architecture Practices: Strong knowledge of Microservices, API Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, and Integration Patterns.
• DevSecOps & Automation: Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Stakeholder & Leadership Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management, strategic planning, communication, and decision-making abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills & Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences will be advantageous:

• Enterprise Architecture Tools: Familiarity with Sparx Enterprise Architect, LeanIX, Bizzdesign, Orbus Software, or MEGA HOPEX.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift.
• Advanced Architecture Concepts: Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) or Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Governance Frameworks: Understanding of ITIL or COBIT for service management and governance.
• Security & Compliance: Awareness of ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls frameworks.
• Professional Certifications: TOGAF certification or cloud-specific credentials such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• 9–12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or technology strategy roles.
• Proven track record of defining enterprise architecture standards and leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong ability to align business strategy with technology strategy and influence executive stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and mentoring capabilities.
