Engineer, Planning - NBR

Job Purpose / Objective

Determine and develop the most suitable and economically viable engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning schedule for projects. Involved from development stages to on-site construction oversight until completion.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare, review, and update project schedules.
• Prepare regular project performance reports and support schedule progress.
• Prepare weekly/monthly subcontract accruals for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct yard capacity planning and identify potential issues with mitigations.
• Conduct manpower planning and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Update schedules, perform forecasts, and monitor project progress.
• Carry out schedule risk analysis and maintain risk registers.
• Monitor change management and update project management tools.
• Perform other duties as directed by the head of the department.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Professional Qualifications: PMP certificate preferable, Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certificate preferable.
• Competencies: Proven skills in Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Office, analytical, numerical, decision-making, team working, attention to detail, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management.
• Requirements: Willing to work extra hours, diplomatic, flexible. At least 6-15 years of relevant experience in the industry, onshore/offshore project fabrication/construction experience. Fluent in English, Arabic advantageous.
