Internal Auditor – Lamar International Industry

Lamar International Industry is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team in Jeddah. This critical role is responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our organization’s governance, risk management, and internal control processes. Key Responsibilities

The Internal Auditor will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Financial and Operational Audits: Conduct comprehensive audits of financial records, operational processes, and internal controls to identify areas of risk, inefficiency, or non-compliance. Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Collaborate with senior management to assess organizational risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats. Monitor the implementation of risk management frameworks and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
• Regulatory Compliance: Verify adherence to local and international regulations, including financial reporting standards, corporate governance guidelines, and industry-specific requirements. Ensure the company remains in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline processes. Recommend and implement corrective actions to address identified weaknesses and strengthen internal controls.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, department heads, and external auditors. Present audit findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Continuous Monitoring: Develop and maintain robust monitoring systems to track the effectiveness of implemented controls and corrective actions. Ensure timely follow-up on audit recommendations and verify the resolution of outstanding issues.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in internal auditing, external auditing, or a related field. Prior experience in a multinational or industrial environment is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in audit software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel). Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines. Fluency in English and Arabic is required; additional languages are a valuable asset.
• Personal Attributes: High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential risks.
