Project Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned and results-driven Project Manager with 6–11+ years of experience to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology and business projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and governance to drive successful project outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial planning to final delivery. Core responsibilities include:

• Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements while ensuring alignment with business goals. Develop comprehensive project plans and execute them with precision.
• Budget and Resource Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints. Monitor expenditures and provide accurate forecasting to leadership.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks and dependencies early, implementing proactive mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. Address issues promptly to maintain project momentum.
• Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and leadership. Facilitate clear communication, manage expectations, and ensure seamless collaboration across all parties.
• Project Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress using established methodologies and tools. Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and deviations from the plan.
  • Conduct sprint planning, retrospectives, and steering committee updates where applicable.
• Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational processes, quality standards, and compliance frameworks. Implement best practices in project delivery governance to maintain consistency and accountability.
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies in project execution and recommending enhancements to methodologies, tools, or workflows.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Resolve conflicts, make data-driven decisions, and empower team members to achieve project goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing project scope, schedules, costs, risks, dependencies, and change requests. Familiarity with methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or Hybrid is essential.
• Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Smartsheet.
• Risk and Change Management: Strong capabilities in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks. Experience in managing change requests and ensuring smooth transitions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Expertise in budget management, resource planning, capacity planning, and stakeholder communication.
• Leadership and Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, decision-making, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and lead distributed teams effectively.
  • Strong executive communication skills to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered advantageous:

• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or SAFe Agilist.
• Collaboration Tools: Experience with Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or Slack for seamless team communication and documentation.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps, or CI/CD practices. Familiarity with cloud-based projects on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Governance and Compliance: Exposure to IT governance frameworks and compliance standards to ensure projects meet regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Experience in Agile or digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
