Position Overview
Mizuho is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Planning, Administrator - Analyst to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning Support: Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic plans to align business objectives with operational capabilities. Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and internal performance metrics to provide actionable insights.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, process, and analyze data to generate comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management. Ensure accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of financial and operational data to support informed decision-making.
- Administrative Coordination: Oversee administrative tasks related to planning processes, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and maintaining organized records. Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate seamless communication and workflow.
- Budget and Forecasting Assistance: Support the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and variance analyses. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in planning and administrative workflows, propose and implement enhancements to streamline operations and improve productivity. Utilize tools such as Excel, Power BI, or ERP systems to optimize data management and reporting.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, and external partners. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and collaborative initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to corporate policies, industry regulations, and internal controls. Monitor compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational integrity.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, PMP, or CIMA) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, business analysis, or administrative roles within a corporate or financial services environment. Prior exposure to financial services or banking is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Familiarity with ERP systems and financial modeling is advantageous.
- Analytical Abilities: Proven ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights. Proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting methodologies is essential.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
