Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation: Safely operate heavy-duty trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, or other specialized vehicles, to transport materials, equipment, or goods to designated locations.
• Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, identify mechanical issues, and maintain optimal vehicle performance.
• Load Management: Secure and balance loads according to industry standards and company policies to prevent shifting during transit and ensure the integrity of the cargo.
• Route Planning: Plan and follow efficient routes while adhering to traffic laws, speed limits, and company guidelines to minimize delays and maximize productivity.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance, and hours of service in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), defensive driving techniques, and emergency procedures to mitigate risks on the road.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions promptly to the maintenance team and perform basic troubleshooting to ensure vehicles remain in optimal working condition.
• Customer Interaction: Represent Rawabi Holding Co. professionally by maintaining courteous and efficient communication with clients, suppliers, and team members during loading and unloading operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Heavy Duty Driver, with a clean driving record and a strong understanding of heavy vehicle operations.
• Licensing: Valid Heavy Duty Driver’s license (Class C or equivalent) and any additional certifications required by local regulations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating heavy-duty vehicles, including knowledge of vehicle controls, load securement techniques, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Safety Awareness: In-depth knowledge of road safety regulations, defensive driving practices, and emergency response protocols.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, as well as the stamina to operate vehicles in varying weather and road conditions.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
• Reliability: Demonstrated punctuality, dependability, and a commitment to meeting deadlines in a high-pressure industrial environment.
