Role Overview: Completions Manager
The Completions Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful handover and operational readiness of projects across the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors. This position requires a strategic leader who can oversee the final stages of project execution, including commissioning, testing, and transition to operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality completions while adhering to safety, quality, and schedule requirements. This role is critical in driving project success and ensuring seamless integration into client operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution Oversight: Lead and manage the completions phase of projects, ensuring all deliverables meet contractual, technical, and regulatory standards.
- Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and support staff to achieve project milestones and objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with project completion, including safety hazards, schedule delays, and quality deviations.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all project activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize the allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency and minimize costs during the completions phase.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project completions, commissioning, or related roles within the energy, chemicals, or resources industries.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in HSE, quality assurance, and project execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar platforms.
