Flight Simulator Instructor

Join Valiant as a Flight Simulator Instructor for the MH-60R Aircraft

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to serve as our Contract Instructor Sensor Operator (CIS). In this role, you will be responsible for conducting simulator operations and flight training for the MH-60R aircraft. This includes instructing on aircraft systems, operating procedures, and tactical employment, as well as leading flight briefs and debriefs.

As a CIS, you will also play a crucial role in updating and maintaining related curriculum syllabi. This involves creating and updating instructor lesson guides, simulator scenarios, computer-based training, and classroom lectures. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Clearance Requirement: Active Secret
• Required Qualifications:
• Qualified MH-60R Sensor Operator within the preceding 5 years, with at least one operational tour and extensive rotary wing experience.
• Minimum of 1000 flying hours, with 800 hours in the MH-60R model. FRS or instructional tour required, with SWTI designation highly desired.
• Ability to obtain a US passport.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, and lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Mental alertness and acute concentration for long periods during training scenarios.
