Key Responsibilities
- Technical Inspections: Conduct thorough mechanical or electrical inspections to verify compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company specifications. Assess equipment, systems, and processes to identify potential risks or deviations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, observations, and recommendations. Ensure all documentation is accurate, clear, and submitted in a timely manner to relevant stakeholders.
- Compliance and Certification: Verify that all mechanical or electrical systems and installations adhere to local, national, and international codes and regulations. Collaborate with engineering teams to address non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold quality assurance protocols and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Participate in audits, reviews, and inspections to validate adherence to quality standards.
- Technical Expertise: Apply advanced knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering principles to evaluate complex systems and identify potential failures or inefficiencies. Provide expert guidance to resolve technical challenges and enhance operational performance.
- Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on inspection objectives and outcomes. Communicate findings effectively and advocate for best practices in inspection methodologies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Certifications: Must hold a valid License of Engineering Execution Authority (LEEA) certification, with a minimum of 3 LEEA certifications or 2 certifications as a mandatory requirement.
- Professional Registration: Registered as an engineer with the Saudi Engineering Council (Saudi Engineering Consulate).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the inspection field, with a focus on mechanical or electrical systems. Prior experience in a similar role within the industrial, oil and gas, construction, or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in inspection tools, software, and methodologies. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for identifying potential issues and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
