Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer I – ECAD will be responsible for a range of critical tasks, including:

• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects to integrate ECAD outputs into broader system designs, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ECAD tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Mentor Graphics, along with a strong understanding of PCB design principles, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with defense, aerospace, or high-reliability electronic systems, including familiarity with military standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810, MIL-PRF-38534) and industry best practices.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
