Senior Consultant – Airport Terminal & MEP Asset Management

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant – Airport Terminal & MEP Asset Management to join our team in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a one-year on-site contract role that requires a minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience in terminal buildings, complex facilities, MEP systems, or airport infrastructure assets. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in asset management, asset information management, or asset data readiness within intricate building or infrastructure environments. Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is essential for effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Consultant will play a pivotal role in supporting asset data readiness activities for airport terminal buildings and associated facilities. The primary focus will be on validating, structuring, and assuring asset information across a wide range of critical systems, including:

• Structural and Architectural Systems: Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of building structures and architectural components.
• MEP Systems (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing): Validating and maintaining data for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure operational efficiency.
• Fire Safety Systems: Assessing and validating fire safety infrastructure to meet regulatory and operational standards.
• Baggage Handling Systems (BHS): Overseeing the accuracy and functionality of baggage handling infrastructure.
• Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB): Ensuring the reliability and operational readiness of passenger boarding infrastructure.
• IT and Communications Assets: Validating and structuring data for IT systems and communication networks to support seamless airport operations.

The role also involves identifying gaps and inconsistencies in asset information, supporting their resolution, and contributing to the development and maintenance of comprehensive asset registers and hierarchies. The Senior Consultant will collaborate closely with engineering, facilities, maintenance, and airport operations teams to validate asset information and ensure it adheres to established quality and governance requirements.

Key Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience in terminal buildings, complex facilities, MEP systems, or airport infrastructure assets.
• Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of one or more of the following systems: structural and architectural systems, HVAC systems, electrical systems, fire safety systems, baggage handling systems (BHS), passenger boarding bridges (PBB), or IT and communications assets.
• Asset Management Experience: Proven experience in asset management, asset information management, or asset data readiness within complex building or infrastructure environments.
• Data Validation and Structuring: Hands-on experience in validating, structuring, and assuring technical asset information, including asset registers and enterprise asset information.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English, both written and spoken, to facilitate effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
