Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant – Utilities & Landside Infrastructure Asset Management to join our dynamic team in Jeddah. This role is pivotal in providing strategic advisory, technical expertise, and operational leadership in the management of utilities and landside infrastructure assets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of asset lifecycle management, regulatory compliance, and sustainable infrastructure development to drive excellence in our projects across the MENA region.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Asset Management: Develop and implement asset management strategies that optimize performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency for utilities and landside infrastructure, including transportation, utilities, and public facilities.
- Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on best practices in asset lifecycle management, including planning, acquisition, operation, maintenance, and disposal of infrastructure assets.
- Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to local, regional, and international regulations, standards, and policies governing utilities and landside infrastructure, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government agencies, private sector partners, and internal teams to align on project objectives, resolve challenges, and deliver high-impact solutions.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess asset performance, report on progress, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
- Innovation & Sustainability: Drive the adoption of innovative technologies and sustainable practices in asset management, including digital transformation, asset digitization, and environmentally responsible infrastructure solutions.
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with client expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Utilities Management, Infrastructure Planning, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CMAA, or ISO 55000) is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in utilities and landside infrastructure asset management, with at least 5 years in a senior consulting or leadership role. Experience in the MENA region is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in asset management software (e.g., Maximo, SAP PM), GIS tools, and data analytics platforms. Strong knowledge of infrastructure regulations, lifecycle cost analysis, and risk management frameworks.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, influence stakeholders, and present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
