Senior Consultant – Airfield & Civil Asset Management

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Consultant – Airfield & Civil Asset Management to join our dynamic team in Jeddah. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert guidance and strategic leadership in the management, maintenance, and optimization of airfield and civil infrastructure assets. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of duties, including asset lifecycle planning, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and the implementation of best practices to enhance operational efficiency and safety. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Asset Management: Develop and execute comprehensive asset management strategies that align with organizational objectives and industry standards, ensuring the longevity and performance of airfield and civil infrastructure assets.
• Regulatory Compliance & Safety: Ensure full adherence to local and international regulations, including ICAO, FAA, and other relevant standards, while implementing robust safety protocols to mitigate risks and enhance operational reliability.
• Asset Lifecycle Planning: Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of asset lifecycle activities, including acquisition, maintenance, rehabilitation, and disposal, to maximize return on investment and minimize lifecycle costs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government agencies, airport authorities, contractors, and internal teams to foster strong relationships, align on project goals, and ensure seamless project delivery.
• Technical Expertise & Innovation: Provide technical leadership in evaluating emerging technologies, materials, and methodologies to enhance asset performance, sustainability, and resilience in alignment with industry trends.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in airfield and civil assets, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to safeguard critical infrastructure.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring systems to track asset performance, report on progress, and recommend data-driven improvements to optimize asset utilization and maintenance schedules.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior consultants and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and excellence within the team.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Airport Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CAMP, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in airfield and civil asset management, with at least 5 years in a senior consulting or leadership role. Direct experience in airport or aviation infrastructure projects is a significant advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in asset management software (e.g., Maximo, SAP PM), CAD tools, and data analytics platforms. Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry best practices is essential.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities are critical.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent are preferred.
