Inventory Controller/ Warehouse Keeper

Position Overview

Taasco International Trading LLC is seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Controller/Warehouse Keeper to oversee and manage inventory operations in our Jeddah-based facility. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and security of our warehouse operations, supporting seamless supply chain management and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure data integrity and minimize discrepancies.
• Warehouse Operations: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including loading and unloading shipments, organizing stock, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols. Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize storage solutions and workflow efficiency.
• Stock Control: Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking. Utilize inventory management software to track movements, generate reports, and forecast demand as needed.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, discrepancies, and adjustments. Generate periodic reports for management to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations, including proper handling of materials, equipment maintenance, and emergency preparedness. Promote a culture of safety and accountability among warehouse staff.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to align inventory levels with business objectives. Provide guidance and training to warehouse personnel to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Problem Resolution: Identify and address inventory discrepancies, supply chain disruptions, or operational challenges promptly. Implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and improve processes.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in inventory or warehouse management may be considered.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with barcode scanning and RFID technology is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
• Organizational Abilities: Exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in time management and prioritization is essential.
• Communication Skills: Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Fluency in English and Arabic is advantageous.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 kg, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions. A valid forklift operator’s license may be required, depending on the warehouse’s operational needs.

The Inventory Controller/Warehouse Keeper will operate in a fast-paced warehouse environment in Jeddah, with exposure to varying temperatures and physical demands.
