As a Music Transcriber specializing in Arabic music, you will play a pivotal role in refining AI models by providing precise transcriptions of melodies, rhythms, and lyrics. This fully remote, part-time opportunity offers competitive compensation ranging from $50 to $70 per hour, with a flexible commitment of 2 to 5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

In this contract-based role, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Accurate Transcription: Transcribe melodies by ear with meticulous attention to pitch, rhythm, key, tempo, and time signature in Arabic music.
• Lyric Handling: Demonstrate strong fluency in Arabic to accurately transcribe sung lyrics, including handling accents and unclear delivery with precision.
• Collaboration with AI Teams: Work closely with AI research teams to provide high-quality transcriptions that enhance the performance and accuracy of AI models.
• Independent Work: Operate autonomously and asynchronously to meet project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Musical Expertise: Formal musical training or professional experience, such as a degree in music or equivalent experience as a musician, composer, transcriber, engineer, or teacher.
• Transcription Skills: A strong ear for music transcription, enabling accurate and efficient conversion of audio to written form.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic, including the ability to interpret and transcribe lyrics with clarity and precision.
