Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial controlling, exceptional analytical capabilities, and a deep understanding of project accounting and SAP systems. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial management of our organization. The Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in maintaining robust financial controls, delivering insightful financial analysis, and supporting executive decision-making through precise reporting and strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities

The Financial Controller will be responsible for a wide range of financial management duties, including:

• Compliance and Controls: Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies to safeguard financial integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Financial Reporting and Integrity: Maintain the highest standards of accuracy and integrity in financial data, ensuring all reports are timely, reliable, and compliant with relevant accounting frameworks.
• Budget and Performance Monitoring: Oversee and monitor budgets, financial performance, and business targets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Periodic Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present periodic financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, alongside comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities to align financial plans with organizational objectives and drive operational efficiency.
• Project Accounting Management: Manage and monitor project accounting activities with precision, ensuring accurate cost tracking, allocation, and reporting to support project profitability and financial transparency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments to enhance financial processes, streamline reporting, and implement best practices that improve overall financial performance and operational effectiveness.
• Strategic Financial Support: Provide executive management with accurate financial insights, reports, and recommendations to facilitate informed decision-making and long-term financial planning.

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Management Controlling or Financial Controlling is essential.
• Technical Expertise: Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, with hands-on experience in project accounting.
• SAP Proficiency: In-depth knowledge and practical experience with SAP systems are mandatory for this position.
• Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Proficiency in French is considered a valuable asset.
