About the Role

JASARA PMC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Director to lead and oversee our portfolio of high-impact construction projects. This senior leadership position is pivotal in driving project success by ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgetary constraints, and compliance with quality standards. The Project Director will serve as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams, fostering collaboration to achieve project objectives with precision and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Director will be entrusted with the following core responsibilities to ensure the seamless execution of projects from initiation to completion:

• Project Oversight: Direct and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring alignment with predefined quality benchmarks, budgetary limits, and regulatory requirements.
• Resource Management: Optimize the allocation and utilization of project resources, including personnel, materials, and financial assets, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities, facilitating transparent communication and fostering trust throughout the project lifecycle.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans that delineate clear goals, actionable tasks, realistic timelines, and resource distribution strategies to ensure project viability.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks and challenges, devising and executing robust risk management strategies to preemptively address issues and minimize disruptions.
• Leadership and Reporting: Lead project meetings, prepare detailed progress reports, and deliver strategic updates to senior management and key stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making.
• Compliance and Safety: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, health regulations, and environmental standards to uphold the well-being of all personnel and the sustainability of project operations.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field is required. A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is considered advantageous.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in project management within the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
• Organizational Proficiency: Exceptional organizational abilities, including the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on critical priorities.
• Communication and Negotiation: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong negotiation capabilities to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Technical Competency: Proficiency in utilizing project management software and tools to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and ensure accurate project tracking.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local construction laws, industry regulations, and best practices is highly desirable to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
