Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor - GF to join our dynamic team at BRF in Jeddah. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and optimize the glass fiber production process, ensuring operational excellence, adherence to safety protocols, and the achievement of production targets. Key Responsibilities

• Production Management: Supervise daily glass fiber production operations, ensuring efficient workflow, resource allocation, and adherence to production schedules to meet quality and quantity targets.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production associates, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance while promoting safety and compliance.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain product quality standards by implementing rigorous inspection processes, identifying deviations, and driving corrective actions to minimize defects and waste.
• Process Optimization: Analyze production data, identify inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and optimize resource utilization.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to workplace safety regulations, environmental policies, and industry standards to ensure a secure and compliant production environment.
• Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities, minimizing equipment downtime and maximizing operational efficiency.
• Inventory and Supply Chain: Oversee raw material inventory levels, coordinate with procurement teams, and ensure timely availability of supplies to prevent production disruptions.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit accurate production reports, performance metrics, and incident documentation to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a production supervisory or managerial role within the glass fiber or composites manufacturing industry.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of glass fiber production processes, machinery, and quality control systems. Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools is preferred.
• Leadership Abilities: Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams, resolving conflicts, and driving performance improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret production data, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot operational challenges, implement corrective actions, and maintain production continuity under pressure.
• Certifications: Valid OSHA or equivalent safety certification is a plus.

This role is based in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Jeddah, where you will work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. The position requires flexibility to accommodate shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to meet production demands.
