Financial Controller - Cantonal Hotel by IHG, Riyadh

Cantonal Hotel by IHG, part of the growing Osool Hospitality group in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dedicated Financial Controller to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and financial sustainability across our properties.

The Financial Controller is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Managing accounting records and ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Monitoring budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing financial performance
• Maintaining compliance with local regulations and coordinating audits
• Improving internal controls and collaborating with hotel and IHG leadership

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• Strong accounting skills, including general ledger management and adherence to accounting standards
• Expertise in financial statements and financial reporting
• Solid finance knowledge, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA being an advantage
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with strong MS Excel skills
• Prior experience in hospitality or service-oriented industries, preferably in a similar controlling or senior finance role
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
