Position Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker Order Picker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of orders while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity. Your responsibilities will include picking items with precision, adhering to quality assurance protocols, and organizing products to optimize space utilization within containers. Key Responsibilities

• Order Accuracy and Quality Assurance: Pick required items while preserving the correct quantity, price, and condition as specified in orders. Ensure compliance with QA rules to prevent the selection of expired or near-expiry products. Report any discrepancies or empty stock locations immediately to the replenishment supervisor for timely resolution.
• Product Handling and Organization: Maintain proper handling techniques to avoid product damage during the picking process. Arrange items systematically within totes, cartons, or lift units to maximize container utilization and facilitate efficient receiving, particularly in pharmacy settings. Ensure all totes and cartons are labeled correctly with printed labels before submission.
• Performance and Productivity: Achieve daily productivity targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy in picking. Your performance will directly impact your performance appraisal, making attention to detail and consistency essential. Organize trolleys and pallets meticulously and submit them to the designated handover area upon completion of the picking process.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhere strictly to company policies, safety procedures, and approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all types of picking applications. Utilize tools and equipment safely to maintain a secure work environment and protect company property. Participate in housekeeping efforts to ensure a clean and organized warehouse.
• Collaboration and Adaptability: Work closely with direct superiors and team members to follow instructions and contribute to a cohesive operational workflow. Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the warehouse’s evolving needs.

Work Environment and Schedule

The position operates entirely indoors within a controlled warehouse setting. The standard work schedule includes six working days per week, with one designated day off. Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, providing a structured and consistent routine.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a warehouse or order-picking environment is preferred. Prior experience with smart devices and RF scanners is highly advantageous.
• Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in using technology for order processing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting. Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential to ensure clear communication with colleagues and supervisors.
• Personal Attributes: Candidates should demonstrate reliability, a commitment to safety, and the ability to meet productivity targets consistently. Physical stamina and the capacity to handle repetitive tasks with precision are key to success in this role.
