Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications using Laravel, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services as required.
• Frontend Development: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular. Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.
• Database Management: Design, optimize, and maintain relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to support application functionality and data integrity.
• System Architecture: Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions. Implement best practices for code organization, version control, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions. Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Testing & Debugging: Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and enhancing user experience.
• DevOps & Deployment: Utilize CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes. Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations. Implement secure coding practices and conduct regular security audits.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Laravel and PHP, including proficiency in Laravel’s core features such as Eloquent ORM, Blade templating, and Laravel Forge. Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React, or Angular) is highly desirable.
• Database Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data migration strategies.
• Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git and collaborative development workflows, including branching strategies and pull request reviews.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose innovative solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration: A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a passion for working in agile environments and contributing to team success.
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in full-stack development, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Laravel.
