We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
The General Accountant will be responsible for executing critical finance functions with precision and efficiency. Your core duties will include:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Operations: Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor invoice processing, payment execution, and adherence to financial controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Indirect Tax Management: Prepare and file tax declarations, process payments, and ensure full compliance with local tax regulations to mitigate risks and maintain organizational integrity.
- Payroll Administration: Manage payroll preparation and disbursements, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees while adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Petty Cash Management: Handle petty cash reimbursements with meticulous record-keeping and reconciliation to support operational fluidity.
- Invoice and Credit Note Approval: Review and approve invoices and credit notes in alignment with client agreements and tax obligations, ensuring financial transparency and accountability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between internal departments and external partners to resolve financial queries, facilitate smooth transactions, and uphold strong professional relationships.
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Saudi citizenship is a mandatory requirement.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is essential, with professional qualifications such as CPA or equivalent being highly advantageous.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience, preferably within a shared services or financial hub environment, where exposure to end-to-end financial processes is critical.
- In-depth knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, ensuring seamless financial operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to drive data accuracy and efficiency.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills to manage complex financial tasks and prioritize effectively under dynamic conditions.
- The ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and maintain composure in high-pressure scenarios is essential for success in this role.
