Key Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling: Develop, monitor, and adjust detailed production schedules to meet customer demands, production targets, and delivery deadlines. Ensure alignment with inventory levels and resource availability.
• Resource Allocation: Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to allocate raw materials, machinery, and labor efficiently. Minimize downtime and maximize productivity through strategic planning.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of raw material and finished goods inventories. Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excesses, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.
• Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in production workflows. Propose and implement improvements to enhance throughput, reduce lead times, and lower operational costs.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a liaison between production, quality control, logistics, and sales teams to facilitate smooth operations. Ensure clear communication of production plans, changes, and priorities across departments.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze production reports, KPIs, and performance metrics. Provide actionable insights to management to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards throughout the production process. Promote a culture of safety and quality within the team.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A diploma with relevant experience may also be considered.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Experience in the rubber or polymer industry is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of production planning software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar), Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), and advanced analytical tools. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and solve problems efficiently. A proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement is essential.
