We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinic Manager to lead the operational and administrative functions of our healthcare facility. Key Responsibilities
The Clinic Manager will play a central role in the success of our healthcare facility by overseeing a wide range of operational, administrative, and strategic functions. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Operational Leadership: Manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic to ensure seamless service delivery, optimal workflow efficiency, and adherence to best practices in healthcare administration.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and supervise administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered work environment that promotes professional growth and high performance.
- Physician and Clinical Collaboration: Partner closely with physicians and clinical teams to streamline workflows, enhance operational performance, and support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze clinic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), operational targets, and patient satisfaction metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate the overall quality of care provided to patients.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards (such as JCI or CBAHI), and organizational policies to maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Patient Relations: Address patient concerns and complaints with professionalism and empathy, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining a positive patient experience.
- Quality Assurance: Support and lead quality improvement programs, participate in accreditation activities, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance clinical excellence.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare comprehensive operational reports and provide regular updates to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
- Resource Management: Oversee staff scheduling, resource allocation, and facility operations to optimize productivity and maintain a well-functioning healthcare environment.
- Crisis and Emergency Management: Lead crisis response efforts, emergency preparedness initiatives, and business continuity planning to safeguard patients, employees, and visitors in all situations.
- Safety and Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and accountability, ensuring that all operations adhere to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will bring a combination of education, experience, and leadership skills that align with our high standards of excellence in healthcare management. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required. A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a Clinic Manager or Healthcare Operations management role, with a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams in outpatient clinics, medical centers, or hospital settings.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Communication and Interpersonal Abilities: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, physicians, patients, and senior leadership.
- Operational and Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of operational planning, budgeting, and Profit & Loss (P&L) management, with the ability to drive financial performance and resource optimization.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Proven ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions under pressure.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with healthcare management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are essential. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in accredited healthcare organizations (e.g., JCI, CBAHI) and a deep understanding of healthcare regulations and quality standards will be highly advantageous.
