Delivery Driver

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to our valued customers while maintaining the highest standards of service, compliance, and merchandising excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Route Execution and Delivery: Follow a pre-determined delivery route plan to visit all assigned customers, ensuring that products are delivered accurately and on schedule. Maintain a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction throughout each interaction.
• Vehicle and Load Management: Load delivery trucks efficiently according to pre-set sales orders, ensuring proper weight distribution and adherence to safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain operational readiness.
• Merchandising and Presentation: Deliver and merchandise Pepsi coolers and other products at customer locations, ensuring optimal placement, visibility, and compliance with company merchandising standards. Maintain a neat and organized delivery environment.
• Compliance and Documentation: Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Accurately document deliveries, maintain records, and ensure all required paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing exceptional service, addressing inquiries promptly, and resolving any issues that may arise during deliveries.
• Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management to support the overall operations of the delivery team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the Beverage, Bottling, or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, with a proven track record in delivery operations.
• Driving Certification: Valid heavy driving license, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations for operating commercial vehicles.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office applications is required. Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Oracle is considered a significant advantage.
• Language Skills: Strong English communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Arabic is a valuable asset and will enhance your ability to engage with a diverse customer base.
