Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of engineering projects. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining rigorous standards of quality, safety, and technical excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional coordination to drive projects from initiation to completion with precision and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Execution: Assume full ownership of engineering projects, guiding them through every phase—from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure—ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Strategic Planning & Development: Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgetary requirements. Ensure all project activities adhere to technical specifications, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Progress Monitoring & Control: Continuously track project performance against established benchmarks, proactively identifying deviations and implementing corrective measures to mitigate risks and maintain project momentum.
• Budget & Cost Management: Oversee financial aspects of projects, ensuring efficient resource utilization, cost control, and adherence to approved budgets without compromising quality or safety standards.
• Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance: Enforce stringent quality assurance protocols and occupational health and safety (OHS) standards throughout the project lifecycle to safeguard personnel, assets, and deliverables.
• Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Facilitate seamless collaboration among engineering disciplines—including civil, electrical, mechanical, and others—to ensure integrated and cohesive project execution.
• Stakeholder & Team Management: Lead multidisciplinary teams with a focus on fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Organize and facilitate project meetings to align stakeholders, resolve issues, and drive decision-making.
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present detailed progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability in project status, challenges, and outcomes.
• Risk Management & Problem Resolution: Anticipate potential risks and challenges, developing mitigation strategies to address issues promptly and minimize disruptions to project timelines and objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 14 years of progressive experience in engineering project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Certifications: Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is strongly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
