Role Overview

As a Demand Planner at TAAM Health, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing supply chain operations by executing precise demand forecasting and inventory replenishment strategies for assigned hospital clusters. You will collaborate closely with the Demand Planning Manager to develop and implement data-driven plans that ensure product availability, mitigate supply risks, and support the seamless delivery of healthcare services. Your contributions will directly impact operational efficiency, cost reduction, and the overall enhancement of patient outcomes across the healthcare ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Demand Forecasting & Analysis: Maintain and continuously update demand forecasts for assigned hospital clusters, leveraging historical consumption data, market trends, and predictive analytics to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Data Monitoring & Risk Management: Analyze consumption patterns to identify anomalies, discrepancies, or potential supply chain disruptions. Proactively escalate risks to stakeholders and recommend mitigation strategies to safeguard operational continuity.
• Replenishment Strategy Development: Support the formulation of data-backed replenishment recommendations for procurement teams, ensuring optimal inventory levels that balance cost efficiency with service reliability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in tandem with cluster coordinators and other stakeholders to validate demand signals at the ground level, ensuring alignment between strategic planning and on-the-ground operational realities.
• Performance Reporting & KPI Tracking: Prepare and present regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and key planning metrics to monitor progress and drive continuous improvement.
• Process Optimization: Assist in the development, refinement, and implementation of demand planning templates, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and decision-making capabilities within the team.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in demand planning, supply chain analysis, or inventory management, with a proven track record of delivering measurable results in fast-paced environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to manipulate large datasets, perform complex calculations, and create insightful visualizations. Familiarity with ERP systems or specialized planning software is highly desirable.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical acumen with a keen eye for detail, enabling you to dissect complex data sets, identify trends, and derive actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors is advantageous, though candidates from other industries with transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
• Language & Communication: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic is preferred, as it will facilitate seamless collaboration with local stakeholders and enhance your ability to interpret regional market dynamics.
