Infrastructure System Integration Specialist (Microsoft , Redhat Migration )

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure System Integration Specialist to design, implement, integrate, and support enterprise IT infrastructure solutions across Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Linux, virtualization, and hybrid cloud environments. This role is critical to ensuring seamless system operations, security, and performance within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing complex infrastructure components while driving automation and migration initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

The Infrastructure System Integration Specialist will play a pivotal role in the following areas:

• Microsoft Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and manage core Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server, IIS, PKI, Hyper-V, and Failover Clustering to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux Administration: Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments, including Red Hat Satellite for patch management and provisioning, to support critical business applications and services.
• Automation and Scripting: Develop and implement automation solutions using Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks, reducing manual effort and minimizing errors.
• Virtualization and Cloud Integration: Implement and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and Hyper-V, enabling efficient resource utilization and supporting hybrid cloud strategies for enhanced flexibility and scalability.
• Infrastructure Migration and Modernization: Lead and execute migration projects involving Windows, Active Directory, Linux, virtualization, and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption and seamless transition to modernized infrastructure.
• Security and Compliance: Apply robust security hardening measures, apply critical patches, and manage vulnerabilities to protect infrastructure assets. Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies to mitigate risks.
• Troubleshooting and Performance Optimization: Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues, optimize system performance, and implement proactive monitoring to maintain high uptime and reliability.
• Technical Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), migration plans, and runbooks to facilitate knowledge transfer and support operational excellence.

Required Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate will possess the following technical expertise and experience:

• Proven experience in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Strong proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and management.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, specifically VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
• Expertise in automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash for infrastructure management.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security principles, hardening techniques, and vulnerability management practices.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments, with a preference for experience in Microsoft Azure or similar platforms.

Preferred Certifications

While not mandatory, the following certifications are highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage:

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• ITIL Foundation certification
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
