Finance Business Partner

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Finance Business Partner to collaborate closely with our founders and leadership team in building and scaling our finance function. Key Responsibilities

The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for a range of critical financial and analytical functions, including:

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Business Partnering:
  • Lead end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide actionable insights for business leaders.
  • Partner with founders and senior stakeholders to monitor business performance, identify trends, and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Facilitate monthly and quarterly business reviews, presenting financial performance and driving data-driven discussions with functional leaders.
• Reporting and Analytics:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive management reporting packs, KPI dashboards, and analytical tools to support decision-making.
  • Prepare and present board and investor reporting materials, ensuring transparency and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Operations teams to enhance data availability, automate reporting processes, and improve accuracy.
  • Design and implement scalable reporting infrastructure using advanced tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to enable real-time insights.
• Controllership Support:
  • Work alongside Accounting and Finance Operations teams to ensure consistency between operational and financial reporting, fostering alignment across the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Management.
• Possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within high-growth, fast-paced, or multinational environments.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
• Exhibit advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including the ability to build sophisticated financial models and reports.
• Showcase exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with founders, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Have a proven track record of building reporting processes, dashboards, or finance functions from scratch, with minimal reliance on a large support team.
• Possess technical expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or equivalent platforms.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent are considered advantageous.
