Senior Advisor, Parts Planning – Lucid Motors (Riyadh)

Key Responsibilities

In this strategic advisory position, you will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Parts Demand Forecasting and Planning: Develop and refine advanced forecasting models to anticipate parts demand across global markets, leveraging data analytics and market trends to ensure optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence.
• Inventory Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and service operations, to design and implement inventory strategies that balance service level requirements with financial targets. Your insights will directly influence procurement decisions and warehouse management practices.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Act as a liaison between Lucid Motors and external suppliers, freight partners, and internal stakeholders to streamline parts procurement, transportation, and distribution. Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain resilience and mitigate risks associated with global logistics challenges.
• Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fill rates, lead times, and inventory turnover to assess the effectiveness of parts planning strategies. Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive continuous improvement.
• Process Improvement and Innovation: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, such as AI-driven demand planning tools or automated inventory systems, to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention in parts planning processes.
• Regional and Global Collaboration: Work closely with regional teams in Riyadh and other key markets to align parts planning strategies with local market dynamics while ensuring consistency with Lucid’s global standards and objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and professional attributes:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in parts planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations within the automotive industry, with at least 3 years in a senior advisory or leadership capacity. Experience in the luxury or electric vehicle sector is a significant advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, advanced Excel, and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Familiarity with automotive-specific software for parts management is a plus.
• Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies that drive operational and financial performance.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred but not mandatory.
