As the Head of Grid Technologies Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of our grid solutions portfolio, contributing to the growth and expansion of Siemens Energy in the region. This is a high-impact leadership position where you will oversee strategic sales initiatives, foster client relationships, and ensure the delivery of innovative energy solutions that meet the evolving demands of the Saudi market.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Siemens Energy’s grid technologies, aligning with regional business objectives and market trends to maximize revenue and market share.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement to achieve sales targets and organizational goals.
• Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, utilities, and private sector clients, to identify business opportunities and drive long-term partnerships.
• Market Development: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities, positioning Siemens Energy as a preferred provider of grid technologies in Saudi Arabia.
• Solution Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and technical experts, to ensure seamless execution of grid technology projects, from proposal development to commissioning.
• Financial Performance: Monitor and report on sales performance, revenue targets, and profitability, providing actionable insights to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, standards, and Siemens Energy’s policies in all sales activities and project implementations.
• Innovation and Sustainability: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge grid technologies and sustainable energy solutions, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 and Siemens Energy’s commitment to decarbonization and energy transition.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a proven track record in sales leadership within the energy sector, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in grid technologies, power systems, or related fields. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required, while an advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, MBA) will be considered a strong asset.

You must possess deep industry knowledge of grid technologies, including substations, transmission and distribution systems, smart grids, and digitalization solutions. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable, and prior experience in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is preferred.
