Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and oversight of smart infrastructure initiatives. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end smart infrastructure projects, from conceptual design to commissioning and handover, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Technical Expertise: Provide deep technical guidance on smart building technologies, including IoT-enabled systems, building automation, energy management, and data analytics, to optimize performance and sustainability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with project objectives and business goals.
• Innovation and Integration: Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices in smart infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and future scalability.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, international standards, and Siemens’ internal policies, including safety, environmental, and quality management protocols.

• Performance Monitoring: Implement robust monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Automation, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, BMS) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in smart infrastructure, building automation, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a senior project engineering or management role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in smart building technologies, including IoT, BMS (Building Management Systems), energy management systems, and data analytics platforms. Familiarity with industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Siemens Desigo) is essential.
• Project Management: Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication abilities to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
