Senior Facilities Team Leader

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Facilities Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Aramex International L.L.C. in Jeddah. Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of facilities professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team members meet and exceed operational targets.
• Facilities Operations Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities management, including maintenance, cleaning, security, and space utilization. Ensure all facilities-related activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and functionality.
• Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance facilities management efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
• Vendor and Contract Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery of services while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
• Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Monitor expenses, track expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
• Health, Safety, and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure and compliant work environment.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between facilities management and other departments, including HR, IT, and operations. Communicate effectively with senior leadership to provide updates on facilities performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Technology and Innovation: Leverage technology and innovative solutions to streamline facilities management processes. Implement smart building systems, automated maintenance tools, and data-driven analytics to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFM, PMP) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in facilities management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Experience in the logistics, transportation, or corporate sector is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in facilities management software, budgeting tools, and project management systems. Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Leadership and Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive operational excellence. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
