Branch Warehouse Supervisor (Jeddah)

Position Overview

Unique Closets is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and manage the operations of our warehouse facility in Jeddah. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling, storage, and distribution of inventory while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record in warehouse management within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate inventory records and minimizing discrepancies. Implement and maintain efficient inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training to enhance team capabilities.
• Operational Efficiency: Streamline warehouse processes to enhance productivity, reduce lead times, and improve overall operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to align warehouse operations with business objectives.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and training sessions to maintain a secure and compliant workplace.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure that all products meet company standards and customer expectations. Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Technology and Systems: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technological tools to track inventory, generate reports, and optimize workflows. Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation in warehouse operations.
• Customer Service: Act as a liaison between the warehouse and other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to order accuracy or delivery timelines.
• Budget Management: Monitor and control warehouse-related expenses, including labor costs, equipment maintenance, and operational supplies. Develop and manage the warehouse budget to ensure cost-effective operations.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Alternatively, a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven expertise in inventory management, warehouse operations, and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Certification in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required; additional languages are a valuable asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet operational demands.
