Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The International Stock Broker/Senior will play a central role in the execution and management of investment transactions. Your core duties will include:

• Transaction Execution and Management: Conduct buy, sell, and amendment transactions for shares, bonds, derivatives, and other financial products through established networks, systems, and foreign institutions. Ensure all activities strictly adhere to Derayah policies and CMA regulatory frameworks.
• Brokerage Services: Provide comprehensive brokerage services, including quoting transactions, processing deals, facilitating cash transfers, and coordinating with foreign institutions to manage client restrictions and corporate actions effectively.
• Client Communication and Support: Address client inquiries promptly and professionally, deliver timely portfolio updates, issue trading statements, and follow up on requests from internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Market and Regulatory Awareness: Maintain a deep understanding of financial news, market drivers, and evolving financial legislation to inform trading and investment decisions. Stay ahead of industry trends to provide clients with strategic insights.
• Compliance and KYC Management: Assist clients with Know Your Customer (KYC) updates and ensure adherence to investment and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks and uphold organizational standards.
• Client Relationship Development: Build and nurture strong client relationships through insightful presentations, participation in networking events, and consistent, high-quality communication.
• Team Collaboration and Coverage: Support the brokerage desk by providing coverage for other dealers, tracking pending orders and transfers, and executing tasks that align with the company’s strategic objectives and operational excellence.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following educational and professional criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 to 4 years of relevant work experience in brokerage, trading, or financial services, with a proven track record in executing international transactions.
• Technical Skills:
  • Exceptional numeracy and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Strong market research skills and proficiency in using global trading platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of international market mechanics, asset classes, and CMA regulations.
• Soft Skills:
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Aptitude for performing accurately under high-pressure market conditions.
• Certifications: Professional certification such as CME-3 is required to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
