Position Overview

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Director of Finance and Control to lead our financial operations and strategic financial planning. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with Qiddiya Investment Company’s long-term business objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
• Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, providing actionable insights to senior management to support informed decision-making.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
• Internal Controls and Risk Management: Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure adherence to corporate governance policies.
• Team Leadership and Development: Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with senior leadership, board members, and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and investors, to communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives effectively.
• Technology and Innovation: Drive the adoption of advanced financial technologies and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
• Mergers and Acquisitions Support: Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration processes for potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships to support Qiddiya Investment Company’s growth strategy.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. An MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced professional certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within a large corporation, investment firm, or real estate development company.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and advanced Excel. Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local regulatory frameworks is essential.
• Leadership and Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are critical.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the real estate, entertainment, or investment sectors is advantageous, given Qiddiya Investment Company’s focus on developing world-class destinations.
