Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing robust quality management systems to maintain compliance with international standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements. Your core duties will include:

• Quality Assurance & Control: Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance and control processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed established benchmarks. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and testing to identify non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to industry-specific standards, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant frameworks, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate quality best practices into project workflows.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent defects, delays, or cost overruns. Analyze root causes of issues and recommend sustainable solutions to enhance process efficiency.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action logs. Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior quality engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Provide guidance on quality-related matters and support the professional development of team members.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between Parsons and clients, regulatory bodies, and third-party auditors to ensure transparency and alignment on quality expectations. Address client concerns promptly and effectively to maintain strong relationships.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., ASQ CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in quality engineering, preferably within the engineering, construction, or aerospace industries. Experience in a leadership role is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of quality management systems, statistical process control (SPC), and industry-specific software tools (e.g., SAP, ETQ Reliance, or similar). Familiarity with CAD, BIM, or other engineering software is advantageous.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions to enhance quality outcomes. Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action techniques is essential.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Certifications: Active certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) or related disciplines are preferred.
