Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in civil or structural engineering and a passion for technical problem-solving. The Technical Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting the design, selection, and implementation of our specialized product range for construction projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to technical specifications. Key Responsibilities

• Product Development & Lifecycle Management: Contribute to the development and lifecycle management of products to strengthen brand identity and market positioning.
• Technical Documentation & Submittals: Prepare and submit comprehensive technical submittals, material submittals, method statements, and product data sheets. Ensure meticulous tracking and follow-up on approvals to maintain project momentum.
• Compliance & Review: Analyze project specifications to verify compliance with technical requirements and applicable standards. Maintain and update technical documentation, including catalogs, data sheets, certificates, and testing reports.
• Technical Presentations & Marketing Support: Assist in the preparation of technical presentations and marketing materials to effectively communicate product benefits and solutions to stakeholders.
• Shop & Production Drawings: Prepare and review detailed shop drawings, installation details, and production drawings. Verify dimensions, load capacities, movement requirements, and installation conditions to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with production and installation teams to align on technical requirements and resolve any discrepancies. Support customized product design and project-specific solutions tailored to client needs.
• Technical Support & Client Engagement: Provide expert technical support to the sales team during project discussions and negotiations. Attend client meetings, consultant meetings, technical presentations, and site visits to ensure alignment and address technical inquiries.
• Project Execution & Troubleshooting: Conduct project reviews to recommend suitable products and solutions. Assist in resolving technical issues during project execution to minimize delays and ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction materials, metal works, expansion joints, bridge bearings, or related products within the construction industry.
• Strong technical proficiency in civil or structural engineering, with the ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and engineering standards.
• Proficiency in engineering and design software, such as AutoCAD or equivalent tools, alongside standard office productivity software.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose site issues and propose practical, efficient technical solutions.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders. Strong presentation skills are essential for conveying technical information clearly.
• Proven experience in preparing technical submittals, shop drawings, and project specifications, with a keen eye for detail.
• In-depth knowledge of applicable building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations to ensure compliance and project integrity.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
