Key Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and professional standards:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Education with a specialization in ICT or IT.
• A recognized teaching certification, such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent, is highly desirable.
• A minimum of two years of teaching experience in ICT, preferably within international schools that follow either the British or American curriculum models.
• Fluency in English at a professional level, as the curriculum is delivered entirely in English.
• In-depth knowledge of digital literacy, office productivity software, introductory programming concepts, and modern educational technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging, practical, and student-centered lessons that inspire curiosity and technical proficiency.

Core Responsibilities

As an ICT Teacher at Science Oasis International School, your primary duties will include:

• Designing and delivering high-quality ICT lessons that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Developing students’ competencies in digital literacy, data management, online safety, and software applications through structured and inquiry-based learning activities.
• Overseeing the management and maintenance of the ICT lab, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-equipped learning environment for practical sessions.
• Assessing student progress through practical projects, assignments, and performance-based evaluations, providing timely and constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Incorporating innovative educational technologies and digital tools into classroom instruction to enhance engagement and deepen understanding.
• Establishing and maintaining clear communication channels with parents and guardians to share updates on student progress, technical skill development, and overall academic growth.
