Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary General Manager to spearhead our Software & Technology business operations in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in driving business growth, optimizing operational efficiency, and delivering sustainable financial performance. Key Responsibilities

The General Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future by executing a robust strategic vision and ensuring its alignment with market demands. The responsibilities include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to drive market expansion, revenue growth, and profitability in alignment with the company’s long-term objectives.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee all business operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and adherence to corporate governance standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Financial Stewardship: Assume full ownership of the company’s Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainable growth.
• Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing leadership teams, cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration to achieve organizational goals.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and government entities to enhance market presence and drive business opportunities.
• Business Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, leading strategic initiatives to diversify the company’s service portfolio and strengthen its competitive position.
• Sales & Customer Success: Oversee sales, service delivery, and customer success functions to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and retention, aligning with the company’s commitment to excellence.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to local regulations, corporate policies, and industry standards to mitigate risks and uphold the company’s reputation.
• Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation initiatives, process optimization, and technological advancements to enhance operational efficiency and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and sustain long-term growth.
• Reporting & Governance: Provide transparent and insightful performance reports to executive leadership and shareholders, offering data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Citizenship: Must be a Saudi national.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or advanced business degree is a plus.
• Industry Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the Software, Technology, or Digital Transformation industry, with at least 7 years in senior leadership or General Management roles.
• Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead large teams and manage cross-functional departments, with a focus on driving operational excellence and business growth.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions, digital transformation services, and IT consulting, with a track record of delivering complex projects successfully.
• Financial Acumen: Hands-on experience in managing P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, with a keen eye for cost optimization and revenue generation.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the Saudi ICT market and Vision 2030 initiatives is highly advantageous, along with experience working with government, semi-government, or enterprise clients in the region.
• Change Management: Proven ability to lead organizational change, implement strategic initiatives, and scale teams, processes, and business operations effectively.
