Warehouse Manager

Position Overview

We are partnering with a globally recognized pharmaceutical company to recruit a highly skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize warehouse operations in Riyadh. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader capable of ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory standards while driving operational efficiency and team excellence. The successful candidate will play a critical part in maintaining the integrity of the supply chain, managing temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products, and supporting production and packaging processes with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Oversee all daily warehouse activities, ensuring adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company-specific quality standards. Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, with a focus on maintaining the integrity of temperature-sensitive products.
• Inventory & Documentation Management: Ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions within the ERP system, maintaining meticulous documentation to support regulatory compliance and operational transparency.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Facilitate the seamless flow of materials to production and packaging departments, ensuring timely availability while minimizing delays and disruptions.
• Quality & Compliance Oversight: Develop, implement, and maintain warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Manage deviations, investigations, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to uphold the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.
• Audit & Regulatory Support: Act as a key point of contact for internal, regulatory, and customer audits, providing comprehensive support to ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Resource & Budget Management: Oversee warehouse resources, including personnel, equipment, and service contracts, while managing budgets to optimize operational costs and resource allocation.
• Team Development & Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the warehouse team to foster a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability. Drive performance through targeted training and professional development initiatives.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across departments to align warehouse operations with broader organizational objectives, ensuring seamless integration and support for departmental goals.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in warehouse management, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or food manufacturing industries.
• In-depth knowledge of cGMP regulations, warehouse operations, and inventory management best practices, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly SAP, to manage inventory, transactions, and reporting efficiently.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing audits, SOPs, deviations, CAPAs, and quality documentation, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve operational excellence.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities, coupled with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
